A legal system is usually understood in the sense of ‘positive law’, i.e. as the sum of the codified statutes issued by the law-making organs of a political community.
A legal system consists of the sum of all laws stated, codified or implied within a given political community. The laws contain numerous norms and requirements which are classified according to various areas of application. In legal theory, a legal system is divided into the jurisprudential sectors of public law, civil law and criminal law from the contextual point of view and into categories such as economic law, traffic law from the methodological point of view. For all these various legal areas there is a demand for suitably qualified and competent translators.

Another quality indicator for a translation is its legibility in the sense of how accessible it is for its intended readers. This criterion is an important point of focus for our proofreaders.
