With degree level qualifications in both translating and interpreting as well as a fund of experience built up over many years, Regine Modersbach has acquired a deep rooted and comprehensive grasp of the art of translation. Following her studies at the prestigious School of Applied Linguistics of the Johannes-Gutenberg University in Mainz, she was employed at the German Embassy in Moscow. She then joined the staff of one of the leading global manufacturers of roller bearings, where in the course of time she was entrusted with the management of the department for translation. She has now ‘been her own boss’ for fourteen years; at first in a freelance capacity and at present as the owner/manager of the more-translations agency.
